Green Store

The Green Store is a store for the members the Solar Women of Totogalpa (SWT) created by a volunteer, Charlotte Ross. From the beginning, the women have worked many hours for the future of their cooperative but did not have the opportunity to earn money due to lack of funds. With the creation of the Green Store, the women began earning Green Hours for each hour of their work that could later be used in the store to purchase such items as solar cookers, photovoltaic panels, clothes, flashlights, plates, batteries, etc. The store is organized once a month where they sell things donated by the courses, friends, volunteers, and other donors. The women also have the option of paying for their purchases in cash, which is deposited directly into the funds of the SWT cooperative.
