Solar Cookers

This project was a collaboration of the mayor’s office in Estelí and Solar Women of Totogalpa (SWT). Solar cookers built by SWT were donated to elementary and middle schools in the city of Estelí while also allowing teachers the opportunity to participate in workshops about the use and benefits of solar cookers. These teachers then started educative programs about the use of solar cookers for the students and their parents, further promoting renewable energy.
